Around & About at ACE ’24

For over a decade as directors of Aesthetic Response Gilly, Carla and I have held the ACE Conference in high regard as a go to industry annual event. It has always been a great arena to connect and reconnect with old and new industry colleagues, partners, friends, as well as catching up with our valued clients and the new doctors, nurses and clinics looking for front of house staffing and support solutions.

2024 was a vibrant, buoyant a conference as ever. With our longstanding relationships with many industry support partners this year it was great to again catch up to share reflections and thoughts across the different aspects of practice management where we come alongside clinics with expertise ranging from branding, business values and best practice, marketing presence, opportunity and promotion, lead optimisation, complications management and our own front of house support and staffing solutions. These are always refreshing catch ups and innovative conversations, across the wealth of industry suppliers present it was great to chat with so many familiar faces.

The forward march of the CRM noticeably continues, with again a strong presence of established and newer names at ACE. As the pioneers of aesthetic virtual reception support and appointment booking in clinics’ own diaries, we’ve seen the transition all the way from paper diaries, to use of simple Google diaries to the full use of tailored aesthetic dairies integrated into sophisticated fully functioning clinic CRM systems. From the very early days when we worked alongside an innovative new CRM founder helping to develop their initial diary offering to this year’s ACE furthering our collaborations with multiple CRM providers in support of great customer support for clinics and their clients, we’ve been involved with CRMs on many levels and we’re looking forward to even closer working with the industry’s leading CRM players.

Catching up with our own clients old and new is always rewarding. For many years now we’ve been an integral part of the Medical Professional practices led by a number of industry speakers, ambassadors, KOL’s. This year’s ACE again saw a host of our valued clients taking to the various stages as respected industry contributors with some of our newly signed Doctor clients on this year’s speaking agenda also. AR’s clinic receptionists are fully versed in our clients’ industry credentials and use these endorsements naturally when speaking with their new patient enquiries.

Between the busy theatre schedules and the extensive exhibition, we were able to connect with clients and took great pleasure in passing straight back their great feedback and thanks to our managers and frontline call handling team. On-going client satisfaction is always our number one aim.

Being able to meet very easily with our new client Doctors, Nurses and Clinics at ACE is really opportune. Whilst our in-depth onboarding process means we get to know our new clients and their clinics very well, very quickly, there’s never a substitute for connecting personally which we were able to also do at ACE.

This year we were particularly excited to be at ACE to be able to share news of our new Online Training Initiative for Clinic Receptionists. First impressions of our new online course were all very encouraging – ‘A no brainer’, ‘About time’, Great support for clinics’. Whilst we’ve invested 13 years of industry focused front of house expertise into supporting aesthetic practices of every size and set-up, it was good to receive such positive feedback from clients and industry peers who have shared, been a part of our journey as the first dedicated and multi award winning aesthetic virtual reception service.

On a final note The ACE Conference ended again this year with the Aesthetic Awards, really nice to see a number of our clients picking up Winner and Commended awards. Congratulations to all.
