We are continuing with our Meet Our Team blog series and this week we would like to introduce Chelsea Richardson. Since joining us over 1 1/2 years ago as a Patient Care Advisor, Chelsea leads many of our outbound campaigns. Let's hear what she has to say
Hi! I'm Chelsea, I'm 24 and I'm a Patient Care Advisor for Aesthetic Response. I have worked here for 1 and a half years and have officially worked from home longer than I have worked in the office! When I saw this job advertised, I knew it was the perfect job role for me as I could talk about aesthetics all day long. I've worked in a customer service role since leaving school and I've always had a genuine interest in the aesthetic industry (I don't think there's a single treatment out there that I wouldn't try!), so I jumped at the opportunity to work for Aesthetic Response and have never looked back.
My job is extremely rewarding and I love being able to assist people in taking that initial step towards their first treatment. As someone who has had aesthetic treatments myself, I know the first step can sometimes be quite daunting, especially when you don't have much knowledge about aesthetic treatments and which one would be best for you. It is therefore important for me to put all of my knowledge and training to the test and reassure the patient, making them feel confident in their decision, leading to those all important consultation and treatment bookings! I also feel it is really important for me to share my own, positive experiences with clients as this not only helps to put them at ease, but also works towards building a great rapport, which is an important value here at Aesthetic Response.
Aside from the job itself, one of the best things about working for Aesthetic Response are my lovely colleges! They are honestly the most amazing group of people to work with, who are always there to support me and give advice if when I need it. We have genuine friendships that I'm sure will last a lifetime – in fact the last night out I had before lockdown was with the girls from work; Little did we know that that would be our last get-together in over a year!
I have found working from home to be extremely challenging as I am such a sociable person and miss seeing the team everyday, however we've done really well at staying in contact with each other regularly and our managers have always made sure that they are on hand if we ever need assistance from home.
Overall I feel very lucky to be a part of such an amazing team and assist with the smooth running of all of our clinics during these difficult times. I'm so happy that we can now see the light at the end of the tunnel, clients are beginning to get booked in for their treatments again, restrictions are slowly getting lifted and summer is on its way. Cheers to that!
