Sunday 18th September, saw the inaugural Aesthetic Medicine North Conference and Expo hosted at the Exchange Hall, Manchester Central alongside Professional Beauty. This Northern event was very much welcomed by the North’s leading base of aesthetic practitioners and industry supporters dedicated to ‘Inspiring Best Practice in Medical Aesthetics’.

It was a busy day for Aesthetic Response and fellow Aesthetic Business Network (ABN) members and industry peers with back to back talks in the Business Workshop. With so many experts co-presenting sessions, the audience benefited from the on-stage wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise.

Gilly co-presented with Sally Taber of Treatments You Can Trust and leading therapist Debbie Thomas (thank you to Debbie who entrusts AR to support her team in looking after her D. Thomas Clinic patient and enquiry calls).

At length the 3 discussed the importance of 'Managing Patient Complications From a Business Point of View'; 3 angles from an industry, clinic / business and a patient perspective. With new requirements for signposting for complaints and a newly launched redress scheme, the aim was to promote the different ways of dealing with complaints to lessen the impact on any clinic's business.

The 'Northern's Stars Panel, also scored well with the audience; 3 leading Northern Clinic owners (Jacqueline Naeni, Jonquille Chantrey and Martine Jarman) answered key questions to reveal the reasons behind their successful clinics and with valuable insight into their own journey's in getting there. Thank you to Jacqueline (Face Cosmetic Clinic) for sharing with the audience that Aesthetic Response are integral to your practice enquiry handling and appointment booking.

Having chaired the afternoon's session, Gilly afterwards commented "Aesthetic Medicine North have done such a great job in bringing together industry talent which has generated such engaged discussion about so many essential aspects of The Patient Journey."
