A major event of the year for the aesthetics industry took place the 6th and 7th of October in The Grand Hall, Olympia, London. This year AR hosted a stand within the Practice Management Expo; the perfect spot for networking. Thank you to so many of our lovely clients for their wonderful feedback and to industry peers for their referrals.
Sunday 18th September, saw the inaugural Aesthetic Medicine North Conference and Expo hosted at the Exchange Hall, Manchester Central alongside Professional Beauty. This Northern event was very much welcomed by the North’s leading base of aesthetic practitioners and industry supporters dedicated to ‘Inspiring Best Practice in Medical Aesthetics’.
On the 19th of June, AR attended the Facial Aesthetic Conference and Exhibition, with Gilly Dickons delivering a talk in the early afternoon about why clinic front of house staff need telephone enquiry handling skills and training and what the training should cover.
Enhance Insurance hosted the Aesthetics Business Network for the second day of ACE, allowing the experts to deliver 1:1 business advice.
On 13th November, Lorna Bowes of Aesthetic Source brought together the members of the Aesthetic Business Network (ABN) for an insightful and dynamic workshop at The Custard Factory in Birmingham.
The Clinical, Cosmetic and Reconstructive (CCR) Expo, as it always promises, was spectacular. This year saw the 31st annual BAAPS meeting running alongside CCR for the first time ever, effectively bringing all levels of industry professionals together. Aesthetic Response decided that this year would be the perfect opportunity to network rather than hold a stand.
What a great event! The ACE event has been and gone for another year, however there is plenty of work for AR to do as a result of this successful conference. The strong, upbeat feel that has started the year for this exciting growth industry was certainly evident at ACE. There were plenty of delegates attending, from practitioners to business managers, and there was a host of interesting demonstrations, seminars and talks for them to attend.
